Easy 12th man inspired Super Bowl drinks

SEAHAWK SUPER BOWL PISCO SOUR

Our friends Lori and Rich have been experimenting this week to come up with the ultimate Seahawk drink for the big game. We appreciate them sharing this recipe with and picture of the finished product with us.

SEAHAWK SUPER BOWL PISCO SOUR

3 parts Pisco
1 part fresh lime juice - Tart!!!!!
1 part simple syrup
1 egg white

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake vigorously.
Strain into glass making sure to get some frothy egg whites on top
Add 3 - 4 drops of bitters and some blue food coloring to the egg whites
Swirl the food coloring a bit for the desired 12th man effect!

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!

Don't throw out the lime shells after you have squeezed out the juice.

Take those half limes and completely scoop out the remainder of the gunk. Fill with blue jello for a fun little side for the perfect 12th man Super Bowl party. You can always use these shells for blue jello shots too.

Recipe for the perfect 12th man Jello Shots

JELLO SHOTS

1 cup boiling water
1 small box blue jello
1/2 cup vodka
splash of blue Curacao

Prepare Jello as directed on box
Add the vodka and Curacao
pour into lime halves
put in the refrigerator - remember to cover with parchment paper to keep the jello fresh while it is hardening. You may want to put these in a pan or tupperwear container so that they don't spill out all over your fridge.
Make sure to give yourself 3 to hours before serving so they have time to harden

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE

One of the things about the Super Bowl is the ease is preparation for snacks / drinks. The Super Bowl has traditionally been associated with chips and beer. Easy.

So, if you want to keep things super easy but still want to stay to a 12th man theme then all you need is a bottle of blue Curacao and a bottle of Midori.

OVER ICE

1 ice bucket
1 bottle Curacao
1 bottle Midori

EASY

For more ideas on drinks using Midori and Curacao we are loving the site DrinksMixer - you can click on an interesting looking recipe and enter how many servings you want to prepare and they will scale the recipe. They also include calories (although there really aren't any calories in these drinks if you are together with friends - Right?)

Salut!
